The official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of a pottery-themed manga Yakunara Mug Cup Mo / Let’s Make A Mug Too has announced that its four main voice actresses – Minami Tanaka (Himeno Toyokawa), Yu Serizawa (Mika Kukuri), Yuuki Kawai (Naoko Naruse), and Rina Honizumi (Toko Aoki) – form an original unit named MUG-MO to perform its anime part’s theme song “Tobira wo Aketara” (When I open the window).
The song’s CD jacket illustration, which is inspired by the live-action part’s key visual, is revealed.

Key visual for the live-action part:
As reported, while the first half of the program is the animation part based on the manga, the second half is the live-action part entitled “Yakumo no Houkago / after school of YAKUMO” that the four VAs introduce the charm of Tajimi-city.
It has also been announced that the live-action part’s theme song “Mawaru Sekai ni” (To the world that goes around) is performed by the five-member idol group Maneki Kecak. The song is scheduled to be released as their sixth single on April 21, 2021.

The program is set to premiere in Japan in April 2021. Jun Kamiya (Hikaru no Go, Kingdom) is attached to direct the anime adaptation part, alongside series composition writer Naruhisa Arakawa (This Art Club Has a Problem!, ISLAND) and character designer/chief animation director Ayano Yoshioka (Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern). Nippon Animation works on anime production in cooperation with Tajimi-city and Tajimi-city Touring Association.
