It never ends with Fortnite, does it? Fortnite continuously keeps on bringing the most amazing crossovers and collaborations, never letting the game get boring. Fans have witnessed so many collaborations over the year, and they still want more. Well, good for them as after the Ariana Grande and Suicide Squad collaboration, Fortnite is back with more.
The Leak
Fans are still waiting for Superman skin in Fortnite which would be arriving next week. Meanwhile we have encountered leaks suggesting an Among Us crossover. The leak comes from a reliable leaker @HYPEX whose previous leaks have also come true. Apparently, he has found files related to imposter and locations in Among Us.
“UPCOMING Fortnite X Among Us COLLAB! There’s currently a thing in the files called “Mole” (Imposter) and it has these keywords related to it: Electrical, Cafeteria, Tasks, Sabotage, Factory, Repair, Lab, Visitor CSI, Weapons Lab, Island Monitoring, Security, The Loop”, @HYPEX tweeted.
Why It Might Be True
The thing about leaks is that many-a-times, they end up being false. But we have some good reasons to believe that this leak might be true. First of all HYPEX is a very reliable leaker and his leaks about Ariana Grande and many more collabs, turned out to be true.
Secondly, the leak mentions locations and technical aspects of Among Us so well, that is hard to believe it might be false. Electrical, Cafereria, Factory, Repair Lab etc. are some major locations in Among Us. Mole/imposter is the major nemesis of Among Us which players have to find. Apart from that, the leaked file names also mention “tasks”, “repairs” and “sabotage”, which are all major aspect of Among Us.
Finally, the most important reason, we believe it is true, is because Among Us is all set for a big update. It rarely updates much and for this big update, it might collaborate with a game like Fortnite for promotion. What It Could be About
Not much has been leaked about what the collaboration would bring along. Among Us skins seem like a rare possibility as the characters in Among Us are not humans or robots or even animals. They are more like puppets, and it might not make much sense to introduce that kind of skin.
But what do we know? Maybe they do find a way to bring new Among Us inspired skins. It’s Fortnite after all. But new cosmetic items do seem very doable and possible. Also, we may see Among Us inspired rooms on Fortnite’s map where there is a cafeteria, an electrical room, a weapons lab etc. It could prove to be an interesting and successful endeavor.
