#Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Web Anime Debuts on September 6

An original four-episode Pokémon Scarlet and Violet web anime titled Houkago no Bless is set to premiere on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on September 6. A teaser trailer has been released.

Set in the Paldea region, Houkago no Bless will follow three students who are asked by the school principal to create a video that will express the school’s qualities to transfer students and newcomers. The main characters are Ohara (Shion Wakayama), a skilled flutist who wants to escape the pressure of performing in a concert; Arikis (Minako Kotobuki), a stubborn Pokémon battle enthusiast; and Homa (Marin), an exclusive scoop-obsessive who causes trouble for others.

Ryouhei Takeshita (Eromanga Sensei director, director and storyboard artist for The Heike Story Episode 9 and A Couple of Cuckoos‘ OP and ED) is directing the anime at WIT STUDIO and co-writing with Lapin Track’s Teruko Utusmi (Ryman’s Club co-series composer) and WIT STUDIO’s Keisuke Satou. Takashi Kojima (The Heike Story, Ride Your Wave) is the character designer.
