#Florida man accused of shooting two people while filming music video

A Florida man fatally shot one person and critically wounded another in an unprovoked attack while filming a music video, deputies said.

Jordan Jaime Silver, 20, was charged with first-degree attempted murder premeditated with a firearm and second-degree murder with a firearm in an early Monday shooting in Riverview that left one woman dead and a man in critical condition, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said it’s unclear what sparked the gunfire, but an investigation and interviews with multiple witnesses revealed that Silver “intentionally shot and killed” the woman before turning his weapon on the male victim.

Witnesses said the shooting was unprovoked, according to deputies.

“Before fleeing the area, Silver also shot an adult male victim who was transported to a local hospital in critical condition,” deputies said in a statement released Tuesday.

Both victims were not identified Tuesday by sheriff officials and additional details were not immediately available.

“Senseless acts of violence will not be tolerated in Hillsborough County,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement. “I commend our detectives for the thorough investigation that helped us locate the person responsible for this double shooting in less than 24 hours.”

Silver, of Brandon, remained held without bail Tuesday at a jail in Hillsborough County. He told arresting officers he was unemployed, jail records show.
