#Five people killed in fire at Suffolk County home: officials

Five people were killed as a blaze swept through a Suffolk County home Tuesday night, police said. 

The fire broke out at the three-story wood-frame home on East Second Street near East Avenue in Riverhead around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

Five dead bodies were discovered inside the home after the fire was extinguished, police said. It was unclear whether the victims were related, and their identities were not immediately released.
