Square Enix has released the version 1.02 update for Final Fantasy VII Remake, which adds the ability to upload the PlayStation 4 version of your save file in preparation for the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on PlayStation 5.
Additionally, Square Enix confirmed that five accessories and the Chocobo Chick, Cactuar, and Carbuncle Summoning Materia will be available as part of the free downloadable content “Final Fantasy VII Remake Item Pack” made available on June 10 alongside the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
Users who previously owned the downloadable content items for the PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake and have upgraded to the PlayStation 5 version via the free enhancement upgrade will still need to download the Item Pack to use them on PlayStation 5.
