# Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo launches February 6

A trailer for the demo is accessible beneath the “Explore” icon on the PlayStation 5 dashboard. The trailer description reads, “Experience the power of choice! The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo is out now, allowing you to step into the shoes of either Cloud or Sephiroth during the Nibelheim episode. Uncover the opening chapter of the game’s story and explore the world map. Your adventure, your choice!”
The trailer was published at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET, which is around the same time the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth-focused State of Play on February 6 will end, meaning it was likely accidently published a day too early.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is due out for PlayStation 5 on February 29.
