A massive fireball shot up into the sky when a gas station exploded in southwest Russia, video shows.
At least 13 people were injured when a fire sparked the blast Monday while a fuel tanker was at the gas station in Volgograd, the Independent reported.
Footage showed the ball of fire erupt and stop oncoming traffic before turning into plumes of smoke.
The initial fire was believed to have been started by static electricity as fuel was pumped to an underground storage tank, the outlet reported.
