#Fermat no Ryori Casts Ryosuke Tomita & Taito Ban in Main Roles
The official website for the upcoming Fermat no Ryori TV anime series has announced the main voice cast members leading the show. Further details on the anime’s premiere date and animation studio have not yet been announced.
The two main cast members include Ryosuke Tomita as Gaku Kitada and Taito Ban as Kai Asakura.
The anime adaptation was first announced this past January in the February issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine, where it was confirmed the manga was resuming its serialization.
Fermat no Ryouri is a cooking manga from Aoashi’s Yuugo Kobayashi that was first serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazine on September 6, 2018. Four tankobon volumes have been released as of September 2023.
The manga has also inspired a 2023 live-action TV drama series from TBS that ran for 10 episodes.
The story follows Gaku Kitada, a teenage aspiring mathematician who ends up in a part-time job at his academy’s cafeteria after hitting several setbacks. A chance meeting with the young and talented chef Kai Asakura takes him on a new path where math and cuisine intersect.
