#Feds investigating DSNY employee caught at Capitol Hill riot

Federal investigators are looking into a city Department of Sanitation employee after he was caught on video at the Capitol Hill riot last week when thousands of President Trump supporters stormed the building, The Post has learned.

Dominick Madden, 43, was identified in videos circulating on social media showing him standing outside the Capitol building during the violent siege in Washington, DC last Wednesday, police sources said.

Madden appears to be the man in the videos wearing a blue “QAnon” hoodie, a baseball cap and waving a Trump flag.

“When we go one, we go all! Let’s go!” he shouts the “QAnon” slogan. “This is our country! This is our country!”

The FBI is investigating Madden to see if he broke any law, the sources said, adding that the sanitation employee has also been banned from Facebook.

Madden still remains on the job pending an investigation.

The Department of Sanitation said it will work with local and federal authorities in any case a city employee was involved in the riot.

“Last week, American democracy itself was attacked by white supremacists – by people who hate the diversity that makes our country and our city what they are,” a DSNY spokesperson said in a statement to The Post.

“Mayor de Blasio has been very clear that if we have proof that a city employee was involved in this attack, they will not be working for New York City any longer. DSNY will assist our partners at NYPD and federal law enforcement in any way we can.”

Federal law enforcement officials have recently busted other local residents in connection with the pro-Trump riot, which killed five people, including a Capitol police officer and an Air Force veteran. Thousands of rioters invaded the building as Congress was certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory.

On Tuesday, the feds arrested Aaron Mostofsky, the son of a prominent Brooklyn judge, for being a part of the pro-Trump mob. He’s facing multiple charges, including theft of government property for allegedly stealing a police riot shield and bulletproof vest.

That same day, the FBI arrested Eduard Florea, 40, in Queens for allegedly posting online he was going to send an armed caravan to the US Capitol. However, sources said he did not attend the riot last week.

The feds were also investigating if any FDNY members participated in the mob after a photo posted to Twitter shows a man wearing a jacket marked “FDNY Squad 252” on the back.

More than 80 people have been charged with federal crimes after they’ve been identified online, and that number is expected to be higher, DC prosecutors said this week.
