#Famous Dex Reportedly Arrested For Gun Possession Days After Allegedly Being Robbed At Gunpoint

LOS ANGELES, CA – Famous Dex was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (March 16) after police found him in possession of a loaded gun.

According to TMZ, law enforcement says the Chicago-bred rapper was sitting in the backseat of a car that was pulled over in North Hollywood for having no rear license plate. Apparently, Dex attempted to get out and walk away during the traffic stop, before the LAPD detained him and searched the vehicle to find a gun under his seat.

Dex was then arrested for carrying a concealed firearm with bail set at $35,000. As of the report on Thursday (March 18), he was apparently still in jail.

The arrest isn’t the only gun-related incident Dex has reportedly been involved in this month.

On March 13, it was reported the Rich Forever signee told Los Angeles police he was robbed at gunpoint and had a $50,000 watch and thousands of dollars in cash stolen. Dex said he borrowed the expensive timepiece for a video shoot and was followed after meeting up with a friend in the San Fernando Valley on March 10.

Dex went to drug rehab in December after disturbing photos circulated online, but he was out in January after spending less than 30 days at the facility.

“Hey fam, I really don’t need you to be saying shit like this, bro,” he said prior to rehab. “Let me tell you something, I want to address this to everybody that’s listening to me. Stop worrying the next muthafucka that’s doing drugs [inaudible]. The world on drugs, you know what I’m sayin’? I used to love doing whatever.

He continued, “I got money, I can do whatever the fuck I wanna do. Goofy ass bitch. Fuck you worried about me for? And two, I don’t do none of that shit, n-gga. I smoke weed and take care of my kids. What the fuck is wrong with you?”
