Primarily, Foxx stars as Brian Dixon, a bachelor and business owner who has found himself playing full-time dad to teenage daughter Sasha (Kyla-Drew) when she’s left in his care. In the hilarious teaser, Brian does his best to be a good father to Sasha, but it’s not without its embarrassing moments, hence the fitting title.
Joining the mix are Brian’s father Pops Dixon (David Alan Grier) and his sister Chelsea Dixon (Porscha Coleman), who are helping him navigate the new waters of parenthood. But along with impersonating Obama, donning skinny jeans, and testing out TikTok dances as Brian, Foxx is also getting religious in the role of Reverend Sweet Tee, who gets some screen time in the trailer along with his other characters Cadillac Calvin, and Rusty.
Full of heart and humor, this comedy also features stars Jonathan Kite as Johnny Williams, Heather Hemmes as Stacy Collins, Valente Rodriguez as Manny, and Miracle Reigns as Zia Williams. The show will also feature guest stars Jackée Harry and Luenell.

The series, inspired by Foxx’s own relationship with his real-life daughter and executive producer Corrine Foxx, reunites the actor with The Jamie Foxx Show collaborator Bentley Kyle Evans who serves as showrunner.
