A former Cleveland dance teacher who allegedly molested a student was tracked down and arrested by US Marshals in upstate New York on Monday, authorities said.

Terence Greene, 54, a former instructor at the Cleveland School of Arts, was arrested in Brighton, NY, by the Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force.

“I applaud the quick work of the team in Rochester,” US Marshal Pete Elliott said in a statement.

“They knew how important it was to get this predator off the streets. Both the city streets in Cleveland and Rochester are now safer with this arrest.”

Greene was named in a felony warrant on July 21 charging him with sexual battery for allegedly abusing a student in September 2008.

The onetime youth dance instructor has a long history of sexual abuse allegations, including criminal charges in 2003 and claims by at least seven former students in 2014.

Earlier this year he quit his new job at Cuyahoga County Community College following accusations by another student.

But Greene has dodged the past accusations.

He was found not guilty after a non-jury trial in the 2003 case, which alleged he sexually abused a 14-year-old boy at the school of arts.

In 2014, the claims by the former students were referred to police, but the detective assigned to the case failed to follow up and was later demoted.
