EVANGELION 30th Anniversary Blu-rays Launch in December

An Evangelion Blu-ray release titled EVANGELION 30th Anniversary Movie Collection is set to launch in Japan on December 10 JST.
There are three options from this upcoming release, with the biggest being the “Shin Seiki Evangelion” + “Evangelion Shingekijouban” + “Shin Evangelion Gekijouban” Full Complete Blu-ray BOX. This 110 thousand yen (~US$764.20), first-run limited 28-disc box comes with the four Rebuild of Evangelion films; the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series; and the movies Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, The End of Evangelion, and Revival of Evangelion. Revival of Evangelion combines an updated version of Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth (titled Evangelion: Death (True)²) with The End of Evangelion.
“Shin Seiki Evangelion” + “Evangelion Shingekijouban” + “Shin Evangelion Gekijouban” Full Complete Blu-ray BOX includes the various versions of the Rebuild movies, such as Evangelion 1.01 Your Are (Not) Alone and Evangelion 1.11 Your Are (Not) Alone). The latest versions of the four films are available in both Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. The special features include video content and booklets.
Another first-run limited product from the EVANGELION 30th Anniversary Movie Collection release is the “Evangelion Shingekijouban” + “Shin Evangelion Gekijouban” Complete Blu-ray BOX, which collects the various Rebuild of Evangelion versions and costs 77,000 yen (~US$534.48). Similar to the Complete box, it has normal and 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays for the latest versions. The special features comprise of two discs with video content and the Explanation of Evangelion:1.01.
Finally, there’s the “Evangelion Shingekijouban” + “Shin Evangelion Gekijouban” Blu-ray BOX, which has just the most up-to-date versions of the Rebuild movies on normal Blu-ray discs. It only has the two discs of video content for its special features. This box costs 27,500 yen (~US$190.92).
Pre-orders for EVANGELION 30th Anniversary Movie Collection have begun on various Japanese online stores. Unfortunately, the releases don’t seem to include English subtitles.
