#Man critically injured in Bronx crash

Three people were injured, one seriously, in a Bronx car crash Saturday morning, police said.

The crash happened when a Honda Civic going south on the Major Deegan Expressway at about 5 a.m. was about to get off onto the 161th Street-Macombs Dam Bridge exit, according to the NYPD.

A gray Nissan hit the car on the driver’s side, forcing it into safety barrels and a guardrail, police said.

A 27-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman and a man in his 30s were taken to Lincoln Hospital. The man in his 30s was in critical condition Saturday morning.

Neither driver fled the scene and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
