Observations from the Mets’ spring training game Sunday.

Nimmo Delivers

Roughed Up

Edwin Diaz’s perfect spring was ruined by a lackluster seventh inning. The Marlins scored three earned runs on four hits against Diaz, who was previously unscored against. Diaz struck out three batters in the inning.

Caught My Eye

Dellin Betances worked a perfect sixth inning in which he relied mostly on off-speed pitches, topping out at 93 mph with his fastball. It was his third straight scoreless outing.
