English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has teamed up with Japanese illustrator / manga artist Rui Ikeda for an animated adaptation of the music video for “Bad Habits”, the lead single for Sheeran’s fifth studio album. The music video (below) depicts a tragic romance between a human woman and a vampire man, and it features direction by Naomi Izumida and animation production by CALF.
“Bad Habits” was released as a single on June 25, 2021. A live-action music video (below) was also released on that same date.
