A man on a e-scooter was killed when a car slammed into him early Saturday in Brooklyn, police said.

The accident happened at around 2:20 a.m. when a 42 year-old man behind the wheel of a white Hyundai Elantra traveling eastbound on Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn made a right turn onto southbound Hoyt Street — hitting a 29-year-old on the e-scooter, who was heading east on Fulton, cops said.

Officers responding to a 911 call found the victim unconscious and unresponsive, lying in the roadway with severe body trauma, an NYPD spokesman said.

EMS transported the fatally injured man to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD spokesman said.

The driver of the Hyundai remained at the scene along with a 26-year-old woman who was sitting in front passenger seat of the vehicle, cops said. Both refused medical attention. Police said there are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
