#Drake Reacts To Fan’s ‘Step Brothers’ Shirt Of Him & J. Cole

Drake has long been a fan of Adam McKay/Will Ferrell films like Anchorman, and he has now expressed his appreciation for a fan who seems to be aware of that.

In a video that began making the rounds on Sunday (March 10), Drizzy could be seen laughing and pointing at a fan’s t-shirt during a performance on his and J. Cole‘s It’s All a Blur — Big As The What? tour.

That clothing item, it turned out, featured an alteration of an image used in the 2008 film Step Brothers, with Drake and J. Cole’s faces in place of lead actors Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.

Check it out below:

Step Brothers, like Anchorman and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, stars Ferrell and was directed by McKay, and was written by both of them.

It is worth noting that the Canadian superstar made a cameo appearance on the set of the Anchorman sequel and he even referenced Talladega Nights in his verse on Young Money’s 2009 hit “BedRock,” so it’s no surprise that he loved the Step Brothers homage.

Versions of the mashup design have been popping up for sale online since the above video first gained public notice.

In addition to noticing fan getups, Drake has been gaining attention on tour for a string of charitable acts.

During an early-March show at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO, the 6 God learned that one fan in the crowd had been struggling with the mortgage on her parents’ house since they passed away.

“Your mom passed away?” he asked the fan, holding an item handed to him from the audience. “Oh this is the outstanding balance right here? That’s a lot of money right there. But you know what? Imma pay your whole mortgage for you. That’s 160 bands but, Imma pay out of my pocket, that’s gonna come from me.”

About three-quarters of the way through the show in Pittsburg last month, Drake told the audience to hug random people. He then looked out in the audience and spotted a fan holding up a sign that said, “Ur music carried me through cancer,” after which he promised the survivor $50,000 for her trouble.
