#Dragon Ball Daima Releases New Trailer and Main Visual, Premieres in October

A new trailer and a main visual have been released for the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima anime.

The “mini” versions of Goku and Supreme Kai are featured, along with new characters Glorio and Masked Majin.

An October 2024 premiere for the new Dragon Ball show was also announced.

Dragon Ball Daima is a 40th anniversary project for the Dragon Ball franchise. The premise transforms Goku and his friends into their kid forms, causing them to journey to a new world to fix their situation. Dragon Ball‘s late creator Akira Toriyama is involved with the story and character designs for the new show.

Dragon Ball started as a Shueisha-published manga in 1984. More recent Recent Dragon Ball anime have been part of the Dragon Ball Super series, which takes place after Majin Buu’s defeat in Dragon Ball Z (1989-1996). Dragon Ball Daima is the first non-Super anime since Dragon Ball Super began in 2015.

Goku previously turned back into his child form in 1996 to 1997’s Dragon Ball GT anime series.
