Give these dogs some treats!
Costumed canines strutted their stuff in the annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade, which returned after a year’s absence due to the pandemic. The annual parade and costume contest took place virtually last year.

Hundreds of spectators filled the East River Park Amphitheater to view the adorable pooches dressed as “Halloweenies,” devil dogs and Alexander “Hamildog.”
One dog was blinged out in jewelry and shades and another in a leather jacket and punk headpiece.
A tiny pup wore white and sat in a doggie stroller covered in red with a sign that said “Met Gala Red Carpet 2021” and a photo of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ “Tax the Rich” gown.

Some dog parents matched their pups, including a woman and her fur ball dressed like the lead in “I Dream of Jeannie.” Another wore a Princess Leia costume and carried her pooch who was dressed as Yoda.
A dog name Archie sported a red plaid coat and hat and carried a whipped cream topped beverage from Starbucks.
