#Dijon shares short film Absolutely

Dijon has released a short film companion to his November debut LP, Absolutely, The FADER’s third-best album of 2021. The 25-minute video, also titled Absolutely, is set in a living room where Dijon and five of his album collaborators — Mike Gordon, Henry Kwapis, Brad Oberhofer, Ryan Richter, and Gabe Noel — have gathered to join creative forces. The intimate atmosphere is meant to mirror the moments of magic that occurred during the Absolutely sessions.

The film comprises previously released footage of Dijon and his band playing Absolutely‘s opener, “Big Mike’s,” and its third track, “Many Times,” as well as new performances of “Scratching,” “Talk Down,” “Annie” and “Rodeo Clown.” It’s streaming on YouTube now and will be until December 31.
