Diddy Wants Kid Cudi's Testimony Thrown Out Over 'Lying' Remark
Diddy and his legal team have petitioned the court to throw out parts of Kid Cudi‘s testimony after he accused the Bad Boy boss of “lying”.
During his time on the stand, Cudi detailed a meeting with Diddy after his car had been set on fire, allegedly by the record executive.
Cudi said that Diddy denied having anything to do with his car being torched but that the “Pursuit of Happiness” rapper believed he was “lying”.
Diddy’s legal team are arguing that the remark is not a fact but an opinion and that it should be struck from the record.

The judge has yet to respond to the request.
Kid Cudi opened up about the emotional toll of becoming embroiled in Diddy’s legal problems.
In a video released on social media shortly after he finished giving evidence, Cudi said: “Hey guys, so I, I just wanna say, man, I’ve been seeing all the love and support, and I just wanna say thank you so much, man. People have been hitting me up the past week just checking in and, and even today, and I just, it really means a lot to me, man.”
Cudi continued: “You guys are the best. I love y’all. This is a stressful situation. I’m glad it’s behind me and yeah, I love y’all, man.”
Cudi’s bombshell testimony was given after repeated references in the trial to the brief relationship he had with Cassie in 2011.
Giving evidence, Kid Cudi confirmed they began dating in 2011 and that he believed Cassie had ended her relationship with Diddy.
Cudi claimed things began to go awry after Diddy found out about the relationship.
Cudi claimed that on the same night Diddy found out about their affair, he received a phone call from a friend who said that Diddy was inside his home.
On his way back to the house, Cudi said that he phoned Diddy with the record executive telling him: “I’m over here waiting for you.”
Cudi testified that he arrived at his home to find his security cameras were not working and that intruders had gone through his belongings, including opening Christmas presents intended for his family.
Cudi further said that his dog had been injured in the incident and locked in the bathroom.
