# Game Freak trademarks PAND LAND in Japan
Game Freak filed logo trademarks for “PAND LAND” on December 28, 2023 in Japan, which were made public today. Two variations of the logo were trademarked.
The term “PAND LAND” was first trademarked by Game Freak on November 8, 2023 in Japan, but flew under the radar.
While the Pokemon developer has yet to announce a game with the title “PAND LAND,” it is currently working with Private Division on a new title code-named Project Bloom. While it is unclear if “PAND LAND” will be its official title, it is a possibility considering most Private Division-published titles are owned by the development studio and not by Private Division itself.
