Detectives These Days Are Crazy! Releases A New Character Trailer Featuring Azuha Hoshino

Upcoming anime series Detectives These Days Are Crazy! has released a short character trailer highlighting Azuha Hoshino, a self-proclaimed science agent. Azuha will be voiced by Fairouz Ai. Detectives These Days Are Crazy! is set to premiere in Japan in July 2025.
Detectives These Days Are Crazy! is a comedy mystery manga authored by Masakuni Igarashi. It was released in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh Magazine in April 2016. There are 15 manga volumes as of May 2025. One Peace Books has licensed and is publishing the manga in English.
One Peace Book’s synopsis for the first volume is as follows:
Behold, a great detective who thrills the world solving impossible cases in no time! His name? Keiichiro Nagumo.
…But all of that was over a decade ago. Now he’s just your typical middle-aged dude. Nagumo is behind the times to the point that he doesn’t even know what a smartphone is. But out of the blue, he is confronted by a high school girl named Mashiro who shows up wanting to be his assistant. Witness the miracles a gender-gap detective duo can make!
