The Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa spin-off anime has released a key visual. It was also revealed that Shouta Aoi is playing the titular character.

The anime is set to premiere in October. It will be streamed worldwide via Netflix in addition to airing on Japanese TV.

The staff includes Akitaro Daichi (Bokura ga Ita, Meiji Tokyo Renka, Ojarumaru) as director, Fuu Chisaka (Detective Conan Opening 47 storyboarder) as character designer, Studio Kokoro’s Mayumi Nakajima (Tada Never Falls in Love assistant art director) as art director, Hiromi Miyawaki (Lupin the 3rd Part 6) as color designer, Akemi Sasaki (Lupin the 3rd Part 6) as photography director, and Jun Abe (Mobile Suit Gundam-san) and Seiji Mutou (Mobile Suit Gundam-san) as music composers. TMS/Studio 1 is producing the show.
