Desus & Mero, a.k.a. well, a lot of things, are no more. Showtime confirmed that their late night show Desus & Mero has ended after four seasons with the show’s official Twitter account stating that the pair would be “pursuing separate creative endeavors moving forward.”
Desus & Mero began in 2019, transferring the duo’s mix of topical discussion and celebrity interview from a previous Viceland series. In addition to TV Desus & Mero hosted the popular Bodega Boys podcast and had previously hosted a show on ComplexTV. Details of the duo’s individual plans are unknown at present, though earlier this year Desus was announced as guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! while the regular host takes a summer break.
Bodega Hive: The illustrious @desusnice and @THEKIDMERO will be pursuing separate creative endeavors moving forward. #DESUSandMERO will not be returning to SHOWTIME. It’s been a good run, fam.
