#Charli xcx shut down Times Square with a surprise show

Charli xcx staged a surprise show in New York on Monday, giving fans just half an hour’s notice before she stepped onto the stage. The show took place in Times Square and was part of a deal with H&M, who presumably put up the costs of a stage in the middle of New York City. You can see footage from the performance below.
Fresh from performing (and hosting) Saturday Night Live, Charli extended her very New York weekend by running through Brat tracks “360,” “365,” “Apple,” “Guess,” and “Von Dutch.” She wore H&M (of course) while Julia Fox joined a crowd that was, presumably, primarily made up of shocked tourists dancing around their shopping bags.
Charli has made an art out of outdoor performance this year, most recently debuting the Brat remix album with an appearance at Storm King in October.
