Dave Burd (aka rapper/comedian Lil Dicky) and his Dave TV show are returning to FXX for summer. The cable channel has announced that the second season of the comedy series will return on Wednesday, June 16th. Debuting in March 2020, the Dave show became FX’s most-watched comedy series ever.

The show stars Burd as a fictionalized version of himself, a suburban neurotic man in his late twenties who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Taylor Misiak, GaTa, Andrew Santino, Travis Bennett, and Christine Ko also star. Season two will feature appearances by CL, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Benny Blanco, Kyle Kuzma, Doja Cat, J Balvin, Rae Sremmurd, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Lil Yachty, Lil Nas X, and Kevin Hart.

LOS ANGELES, April 19, 2021 – FX has set the premiere date for the highly anticipated second season of DAVE, the breakout comedy series that became FX’s most-watched comedy series ever in its first season.

The second season will premiere on Wednesday, June 16 at 10 pm ET/PT on FXX and be available to stream the following day on FX on Hulu. The premiere will include the first two episodes, with new episodes available each subsequent week.

DAVE stars Dave Burd as “Dave” (also Co-Creator, Executive Producer and Writer); Taylor Misiak as “Ally;” GaTa as “GaTa;” Andrew Santino as “Mike;” Travis Bennett as “Elz” and Christine Ko as “Emma.”
