# Dauntless to end service on May 30
Free-to-play monster hunting game Dauntless will end service on May 29 at 11:45 p.m. PT / May 30 at 2:45 a.m. ET, after which it will no longer be available to play, developer Phoneix Labs announced.
Dauntless first launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 26, 2019, followed by Switch on December 10, 2019, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on December 2, 2021.
A major update, “Umbral Reign,” was planned for release on January 16, but was delayed to an unannounced date. However, Phoenix Labs announced today that Dauntless will receive no additional content or updates.
