Korn’s creative and commercial peak in late ’90s/early ’00s is undeniable. You’ve got Follow The Leader (that album is a lot weirder than even its strange smash singles would have you believe), the even-darker Issues, and the ambitious, underrated Untouchables, a formidable hat trick of albums from the nu-metal group. In a shrewd showcase of their influence, Korn have shared a new remix of their song “Worst Is On Its Way,” helmed by HEALTH with verses from Danny Brown and Meechy Darko.

Not surprisingly, HEALTH’s dark-ambient industrial oversees the more guitar-heavy source material with reverent flair. The instrumental becomes a gothic church of prismatic synths and obsidian drums, the kind of thing you’d expect Danny Brown to gravitate towards. His verse does not disappoint, and while Meechy’s is mostly laced with venom, he briefly gives us an adorable glimpse into his fandom: “I was nine bumpin’ Korn in my Sony Walkman / I was born under blood moon, red roses.” Same, Meechy, same.
