#Cyclist clinging to life after hitting pedestrian in NYC

A 27-year-old bicyclist is clinging to life after crashing into a pedestrian on the edge of Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on the Fourth of July, cops said.

The near-deadly collision occurred at the intersection of Prospect Park Southwest and 16th Street in Windsor Terrace around 11 a.m., authorities said.

The biker was taken to Maimonides Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, while the 58-year-old pedestrian, who sources said was in the crosswalk, was taken to Methodist Hospital.

The cyclist was in the bike lane at the time, sources added.

The crash is under investigation by police.
