#Cuomo lawyer grouses about AG James’ sex harass probe, won’t take questions

He’s going — kicking and screaming all the way.

As he began to pack up his stuff for the move out of the Albany executive mansion Friday, disgraced Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s personal lawyer called for “corrections” to the state attorney general’s report that delivered the final death blow to the third-term Democrat’s run as chief executive.

Rita Glavin, Cuomo’s personal attorney, held a Zoom conference call with reporters to say she plans to release a rebuttal to the investigation’s damning findings.

“We will be submitting to the Attorney General requesting that she correct and that she supplement her report relating to the governor and sexual harassment allegations,” said Glavin.

“I believe that to the extent that the New York State Assembly, or any other government entity, will be relying on that report to make decisions, to make findings, it is incumbent upon the chief legal officer of our state to make corrections, include material omissions, and supplement the record with information that bares directly on a number of the findings that were included in that report.”

Attorney General Letitia James’ probe documenting Cuomo’s alleged sexual harassment of 11 women — including current and former staffers — caused Cuomo to announce on that Aug. 10 he would resign in 14 days. Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul is slated to take over as governor on Tuesday.
