#Cuomo and de Blasio are killing everything nice in NYC

#Cuomo and de Blasio are killing everything nice in NYC

Grim signs keep piling up of the toll the Cuomo-de Blasio lockdown policies are taking on New York.

The iconic Roosevelt Hotel will close after nearly a century; the owners’ spokesman says they have “no plans for the building beyond the scheduled closing.”

Heartbreaking: The Roosevelt is all over movie and local political history. It’s where the New Year’s Eve tradition of singing “Auld Lang Syne” was born.

Meanwhile, the 107-year-old Grand Central Oyster Bar is going back on hiatus after just 12 days. Gov. Cuomo’s limit on indoor dining to 25 percent capacity didn’t help, despite lines out the door on reopening day. And the lack of commuters proved deadly.

And the New York Philharmonic just canceled all concerts through next June due to state and city health regulations.

If our leaders don’t start reopening aggressively, the city will have nothing nice left.
