#Unnamed Memory Reveals 2nd Main Key Visual

A second main key visual has been released for the upcoming Unnamed Memory fantasy TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 9, 2024. 

Kazuya Miura (Kancolle: Itsuka Ano Umi de) is directing the anime adaptation, with Deko Akao (My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex) as screenwriter, Chika Noumi (Kancolle: Itsuka Ano Umi de) as character designer, and Akito Matsuda (Assault Lily: Bouquet) as music composer. ENGI is in charge of the animation production for the series.

Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes: 

  • • Yoshiki Nakajima as Oscar
  • • Atsumi Tanezaki as Tinasha 
  • • Shuuichiro Umeda as Lazar
  • • Yuuko Natsuyoshi as Sylvia
  • • Chinatsu Akasaki as Meredina
  • • Takuya Sato as Als
  • • Kohei Amasaki as Cav

The original fantasy light novel series are written by Kuji Furumiya and illustrated by chibi. It began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on September 18, 2012, before being published by Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko imprint from January 17, 2019 to April 17, 2021. Six volumes were released in total. 

The series was followed by a sequel titled Unnamed Memory: After the End on February 17, 2022. Three volumes have been released as of October 2023, with a fourth volume set for release on April 17, 2024.

Crunchyroll is streaming the Unnamed Memory series, describing the synopsis as: 

Seeking to end a curse thwarting his lineage, Prince Oscar sets out on a quest that leads him to a powerful and beautiful witch, Tinasha, and he demands a unique bargain: marriage. Though unenthused by the proposal, she agrees to stay in his castle for a year while researching the spell cast upon him. But beneath her beauty lies a lifetime of dark secrets that soon come to light.
