“Crunchyroll Hosts Anime Y2K Party During Anime NYC Weekend”

Crunchyroll has announced that it will be hosting a 1990s nostalgia-filled anime musical dance experience at the Terminal 5 music venue on November 19, 2022, during the weekend of Anime NYC. Doors will open at 7 PM EST and the show will start at 8 PM EST. Attendees will need to bring proof of identification because it will be an 18+ show.

The Anime Y2K party will feature performances from various DJs from around the world, including D-YAMA, DJ WILDPARTY, TEDDYLOID and JVNA. Some of these artists have also previously performed at Porter Robinson’s Second Sky music festival that happened this past October.

The musical event will be themed around the aesthetics and soundscapes of 1999 in celebration of anime and music. Attendees will be transported into a slice of the Akihabara, Tokyo 1990s nightclub scene with live music, supercharged trailers of current anime series, photo ops, and games.

Tickets for Crunchyroll’s Anime Y2K Party can now be purchased on the event’s official website with additional information available as well.
