According to the streaming service, the first episode, including German dubbing, will be released on 1. November 2022 at 9:30 pm. After that, more episodes of the anime hit will appear every Tuesday with German soundtrack. Details on the voice cast and other background information about the dubbing will be published when the first episode is released. In addition to the SimulDub in November, “Chainsaw Man” is published every Tuesday in Japanese with German subtitles. The series premiered on Japanese television on October 11 this year (we reported).

The series is being directed by Ryuu Nakayama in the renowned studio MAP (“Jujutsu Kaisen”, “Attack on Titan”). Kazutaka Sugiyama is in charge of character design, while Hiroshi Seko is in charge of the script. The underlying manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto is divided into two parts, with part 1 already completed. The second part is currently appearing in the Weekly Shōnen Jump. An English simulpub is coming at MANGA PLUS. In Germany, the series is available from Egmont Manga.

Storyline for «Chainsaw Man»:

Denji lives in abject poverty with his only friend: a chainsaw devil named Pochita. His father left him with a huge mountain of debt and since then Denji has been swinging from one low point to the next. Together with Pochita, he hunts down devils in order to pay off his excessive debt and lead a normal life.

Luck isn’t kind to him and so one day Denji is betrayed and stabbed in the back. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and is resurrected as “Chainsaw Man” – a man with a devil’s heart.
