#Crown Handler Film Gets New OVA

The official website for the six-part Princess Principal: Crown Handler sequel film series revealed that the first film’s Blu-ray will include a new six-minute OVA titled “Busy Easy Money” which features Dorothy, Chise, and the members of Team White Pidgeon. The first film in the series premiered on February 11 while the second film is set to premiere this fall.

The film’s staff includes series director Masaki Tachibana (Barakamon, .hack//Quantum), with other returning staff including chief animation director Kimitake Nishio (Moetan, ToHeart2), character designer Yukie Akiya (Celestial Method, Code:Breaker), Noboru Kimura (Gundam Build Divers, Solty Rei) as scriptwriter and supervisor, and Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero) as music composer. Studio 3Hz and Actas were in charge of the animation production.

Most of the original cast from the series also reprised their roles, with Akira Sekine returning as Princess, Yo Taichi as Dorothy, Akara Kageyama as Beatrice, and Nozomi Furuki as Chise. Aoi Koga took over the role of protagonist Ange for the movie due to the original voice actor, Ayaka Imamura, retiring in 2018 due to health concerns.

Sentai Filmworks licensed the film series and describes the story as:

At the end of the 19th century, London, the Kingdom of Albion has been split into East and West sides by a giant wall. Five girls attend Queen’s Mayfaire, a conventional and prestigious school. Under the guise of regular high school girls, they act as spies undercover. Disguise, reconnaissance, infiltration, car chases… Each girl uses their own set of special skills to dart around the world of shadow.
