NBC broadcaster Cris Collinsworth had a good laugh while celebrating his 63rd birthday on Thursday.
The former Bengals wide receiver reacted to a viral photo on Twitter that showed him standing shirtless in 1981 — the year he was drafted with the 37th overall pick by Cincinnati.
The black and white image, shared by the Pro Football Focus Twitter account, featured a smiling Collinsworth modeling a lanky frame in a pair of short shorts.
“Happy birthday to the boss,” PFF wrote in its tweet.
“I need the person who chose this picture to see me in my office immediately,” replied Collinsworth, who is the owner and chairman of Pro Football Focus.
Fans had a field day in the comments, poking fun at Collinsworth in the photo. One fan compared him to Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, whose shirtless “dad-bod” photo from the NFL Combine in 2000 went viral.
Although Collinsworth sported a lankier physique when he entered the league, the Bengals alum was a three-time Pro-Bowler and earned a first-team All-Pro selection.
He tallied 417 receptions, 6,698 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns over eight seasons with the Bengals.
Collinsworth will be on the call for Super Bowl 2022 with Al Michaels on NBC next month.
