A 24-year-old Connecticut man tweeted out “imma kill a cop today” — and within hours, cops were at his front door.

“imma kill a cop today and when they ask me why i did it imma tell them he was acting nervous and looked at me wrong,” Alexander Hassinger wrote in a tweet that was fired off at 11:39 a.m. on Wednesday to his 25 followers, racking up two likes and a single retweet.

The post did, however, catch the attention of someone in Virginia, who reported the “disturbing” tweet to Connecticut State Police less than five minutes later, according to cops.

State Police tracked down Hassinger at his Sandy Hook home by 5:10 p.m. and arrested him on charges of harassment and breach of peace, police records show.

Hassinger, who did not respond for comment, was out on $10,000 bail within hours, cops said, and tweeted “i got arrested for a tweet y’all that’s wild.”

The 24-year-old’s account shows numerous posts supporting the recent protests against racial inequality and police brutality.

“i was arrested today for essentially cyber bullying the police while Breonna Taylor’s murderers walk free,” he shared at 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Hassinger claimed online that the FBI was involved in his arrest, however, State Police could not confirm and the FBI did not return calls.
