At its Anime NYC 2022 industry panel, Comikey has announced that it has added eight new manga series for its service in November and December. The digital comics publisher has stated that it plans to add over 150 manga and webtoon titles throughout the rest of the year and into 2023. 

Comikey also revealed a new initiative in which it will convert its existing manga titles into webtoon format, beginning with Azuki Arai and Zianazu‘s Thank You, Isekai! Manga series.

Three of the newly licensed manga titles have already been released on the service since November 20, 2022. More than 100 titles from Square Enix have also been licensed and will be revealed at a later date. 

The three new manga now available on Comikey’s service include:

• • Dopeman by Yuuhei Ogino
• • On Her 94th Reincarnation, This Villainess Became the Heroine by Ichiha Hiiragi and Touka Takauchi
• • A Side Character’s Love Story by Akane Tamura

Meanwhile, the five new manga set to launch in December 2022 include:

• • Double the Trouble, Twice as Nice by Ryo Ichino
• • Second Time’s the Crime by Nagare Ebi
• • The Betrayed Husband’s Blues by Chika Semoto
• • On a Cold Bed by Minori Mizuya
• • Pocha-Meshi: Stuff Your Cheeks with Love! by Studio Mee

Comikey also recently partnered with webtoon platform Studio Moon 6 to release more than 10 original webtoon titles in 2023. The company has established partnerships with Korean publishers to add 43 new titles to its catalog, with some set to be exclusive to the service. That includes 10 new series from C&C Revolution, nine series from Storysoop, five series from Mr. Blue, and nine series from WoowaBrothers. The digital comics service also added three titles from publisher Kanman Manhua, consisting of Richest Man Starting Today, World’s Biggest Superstar, and Malevolent Master.
