#Comedy Trio “Young Wai Wai” Frolics in TV Anime Teppen-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Teaser Visual

Bushiroad Move, a group company of Bushiroad, has released a teaser visual for the forthcoming TV anime based on the manga Teppen-!!!, which has been serialized in the Monthly Bushiroad magazine. Whereas the manga title had three exclamation marks, that of the anime increased to 15, Teppen-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The visual introduces the three members of Kansai’s representative comedy trio “Young Wai Wai,” the main characters of the original manga, frolicking on a manzai stage. The representative three-member units of the five regions in Japan will be revealed every week from now on.

The original manga Teppen-!!! is based on an original concept by an award-winning novelist Inujun and illustrated by Namamugi. A three-member voice actress unit Seiyu Sanshimai Team Y has been supporting the manga as original story collaborators. The unit consists of Ayasa Ito (Arisa Ichigaya in BanG Dream!), Aimi (Kasumi Toyama in BanG Dream!), and Mikoi Sasaki (Royal penguin in Kemono Friends). The three are confirmed to voice the anime’s three main characters of Young Wai Wai as below:

The general director is Shinji Takamatsu (Gintama), and the director is Yasuhiro Watanabe (Tokyo Ghoul:re). Jun Kumagai (Terror in Resonance) serves as series composition/script writer, and Yoshiyuki Okubo (Senki Zesshou Symphogear main animator) designs the anime characters. Drive (ACTORS -Songs Connection-) works on anime production. The TV anime is set to premiere sometime in 2022.
