A Columbia University student is dead and a tourist injured in a pair of unprovoked stabbings near the Manhattan campus Thursday night, according to officials.

The 30-year-old student was stabbed in the stomach near the corner of West 123rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue in Morningside Heights just before 11 p.m. Thursday, according to cops.

He was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai-Saint Luke’s Hospital.

The man was identified as graduate student Davide Giri by Columbia University president Lee Bollinger in an email to students.

“I write with great sorrow to share the tragic news that Davide Giri, a graduate student at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, was killed in a violent attack near campus on Thursday night,” Bollinger said.

Cops said that during the investigation, they found a second man, a 27-year-old tourist, with stab wounds to the torso at West 110th Street and Cathedral Parkway. He was taken to the same hospital in stable condition.

A 25-year-old man was arrested inside Central Park soon after in connection to the stabbing frenzy, cops said.

The suspect was threatening a third man with a knife when he was taken into custody, according to police. The third victim wasn’t injured.

Police sources told The Post the suspect, who has not yet been charged, is a reputed gang member with a lengthy rap sheet.

The Queens man — who is allegedly part of the Bloods gang offshoot Every Body Killer — has 11 prior arrests dating back to 2012 for robberies and assaults, as well as other alleged crimes, sources said.

He was convicted of gang assault in 2015 and served two years of a four-year prison stint, according to state Department of Corrections records.

Giri, the slain victim, was a PhD candidate in computer science at Columbia, according to his website.

The fatal stabbing occurred just a block from Morningside Park where Barnard student Tessa Majors, 18, was stabbed to death in a botched robbery in December 2019.

One of the three teens charged in her murder was sentenced to nine years in prison in October.
