As KSM announced yesterday, the license for the anime film “Colorful” has been secured!

The anime drama will appear on DVD and Blu-ray in April 2021. Along with the announcement, KSM also released a visual which you can view below. Further information, such as synchronization or possible extras, is not yet known.

«Colorful» could already be described as a classic, as it premiered in Japanese cinemas on August 21, 2010. The film is based on the novel “Colorful” by Eto Mori.

Colorful is a gripping drama about the cycle of life and death. Souls who have committed grave sins have to prove themselves in a kind of internship and show that their souls are worth being born again.

This also happens to our protagonist in the film, who finds himself in the body of 14-year-old Makoto Kobayashi. A boy who tried to kill himself. And so begins a new life. A life full of ups and downs.
