#Coldplay Releasing New Song “Higher Power” Next Week

Coldplay have announced that they’ll return on May 7 with a new song called “Higher Power.” The new single was produced by Max Martin (whom the band described in a press release as “a true wonder of the universe”) and will be released via Parlophone/Atlantic. “‘Higher Power’ is a song that arrived on a little keyboard and a bathroom sink at the start of 2020,” the band said in the statement. Coldplay have been teasing new music via the website alienradio.fm. The band’s latest album, 2019’s Everyday Life, was nominated for the 2021 Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
