#Clayton Kershaw will put LA over the top

“You may be right, I may be crazy.” Singing along with Billy Joel after telling friends/foes that the Dodgers beat a better team in the NLCS than the one they’ll face in the World Series. Crazy? Sure. But thought the Braves were that good.

LA and Tampa Bay did finish the regular season with league-best records. Dodgers at 241-144, have been the best team in baseball three years running but have no rings to show for it. Corey Seager (.298, 6 HRs) and Mookie Betts (.311) have hit this postseason. But Justin Turner (.209), Will Smith (.222), Max Muncy (.211) and Chris Taylor (.200) haven’t.

Series will be played at Globe Life Field where the Dodgers made themselves at home the past 10 days. Game 1 starters Tyler Glasnow and Clayton Kershaw, both 2-1 this postseason, are coming off subpar starts. Glasnow allowed four runs over six innings. Kershaw yielded four runs over five frames after being pushed back two days with back spasms. Rays nearly let the Astros put them on the wrong side of a historical collapse in the ALCS. LA is better than Houston. Believe this will take five or six games, so we will take the Dodgers in Game 1 for 40 units and another 40 units on LA to win the series.

Chiefs beat the Bills 26-17, and covered the four-point spread on a rainy night in Buffalo. Heading to the WS down -1,083 steneruds.
