He retired in 2012, but longtime foe Chipper Jones is still haunting the Mets.

The Hall of Famer provided a Hall of Fame-level troll for his old rivals, buying a cutout of himself at Citi Field. The Mets are allowing fans to buy cutouts of themselves to fill the empty seats.

During his 19-year career with the Braves, Jones was an eight-time All-Star, won two Silver Slugger awards at third base and was named NL MVP in 1999. He always saved his best performances for against the Mets, however.

In 245 career games against the Mets, Jones slugged 49 homers and 159 RBIs, good for a .949 OPS. The 49 homers are tied with the Phillies for the most against any team by Jones.

In 1999, the year Jones won MVP, the Mets and Braves battled deep into September for the NL East crown. In a late-season series, Jones hit four home runs and drove in seven runs along with a .444 average. When the two sides met in the NLCS just a few weeks later, the Mets walked Jones nine times in 19 plate appearances.

Jones hit his first career homer, a game-winner, at Shea Stadium to kick off a dominant career at the ballpark. He even named his son Shea because of how much he loved to play there.
