The anime classic “Chibi Maruko Chan” from the early anime era on German TV has finally been licensed and is scheduled to be released in this country…
The new publisher in the anime segment Hardball Films announced today the license to have secured to the series. «Chibi Maruko Chan» will be known to most of the German-speaking countries through the broadcasts on Super RTL and RTL II. Just exist in German 52 episodes of currently over 1,200 episodes in Japan, where the series has continued to be popular since the 1990s.
The series is about 9-year-old Momoko Sakura and her family in everyday and unique situations. The young girl Momoko, nicknamed Maruko, is not a quiet person, but often causes trouble for herself and others.
These 52 stories about little Maruko will soon be available from Hardball Films. More release details will follow at a later date.
