Crypton Future Media has released a music video for “Future Eve,” the theme song for the forthcoming event “Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 10th Anniversary,” on YouTube and Nico Nico Douga.

“Hatsune Miku ‘Magical Mirai'” is an event that combines 3DCG live performances by Hatsune Miku and other virtual singers with an exhibition where visitors can experience the joy of creativity. It has been held every year since 2013, and its 10th anniversary edition will be held at three venues under the theme of “Retro Future,” including Osaka, Tokyo, and for the first time, Sapporo in Hokkaido.

The theme song “Future Eve” was written/composed by acclaimed vocaloid song producer, sasakure.UK, and its music video was created by illustrator Kawasemi, who has worked on music videos for numerous sasakure.UK songs in the past. In the video, Miku’s story is expressed with a soft touch in a distant future universe amidst electronic and nostalgic music inspired by the theme of the event, “Retro Future.”
