#Charles Barkley trolled about diet on ‘Inside the NBA’

The “Inside the NBA” crew continues to serve up laughs at Charles Barkley’s expense.

On Tuesday, his co-hosts Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith decided to investigate an apparent claim by Barkley that he’s on a diet and only eating between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

So, the hosts put a hidden camera in the crew’s greenroom backstage to see if Barkley snuck some snacks during his window of fasting.

The footage showed Barkley, with his button-up shirt untucked and wrinkled, grabbing a snack at 7:58 p.m.

“That’s still good, 7:58 is great. It’s perfect, you were right there man,” Johnson said, to which Barkley added, “I stayed within my time frame.”

But, Johnson warned, that wasn’t it.

“Well, I think there is more tape,” he said.

Barkley was caught on camera searching for more snacks at 9:18 p.m. — and he wasn’t alone. O’Neal joined him and was seen reaching for snacks of his own.

“I’m right there with you,” the Lakers legend said, laughing.

Five minutes later, footage showed Barkley went back for more food and again 10:26 p.m.

“They got a snack cam back there man,” Smith said, unable to contain his laughter. “Y’all are out of control.”

After the crew aired the evidence, Barkley said he was just “extending his dinner.”

“Chuckster, are we supposed to believe for the last two weeks that there has been no snacking, this was just an isolated incident?” Johnson asked.

“I’ll tell you what’s so funny about that Ernie,” Barkley said. “I did the same thing last week. They had the snacks sitting right beside my seat. I have willpower when the snacks are not right beside me. I’m telling you the truth. Thursday will be my weak night because the snacks are right beside me.”

O’Neal accused him of lying and Barkley said, “Y’all are some snitches in this,” while sipping his glass.
